Noodle and Beer turns six with golden chopsticks and half-price feasts

Noodle and Beer is celebrating its sixth anniversary with a generous giveaway and a day of unmissable dining offers. On Thursday 27th November, both its Chinatown and Spitalfields restaurants will serve 50% off food between 12pm and 5pm, before launching a playful golden-chopstick hunt that will see two lucky guests win a whole year of free Noodle and Beer meals.


The anniversary offers invite diners to enjoy the dishes that have defined the brand’s success over the past six years. Small-plate favourites such as crispy courgette fries, minced chicken dumplings, and Sichuan spiced fried chicken wings set the tone, showcasing the bold, aromatic flavours Noodle and Beer is known for. The star of the menu, the Super King Braised Beef Ribs with Blanket Noodles, is a must-try centrepiece. Lavishly sprayed with edible gold, it’s one of London’s most photographed noodle dishes and remains a signature example of the restaurant’s flair for flavour and presentation. Those craving a sweet finish can opt for the sticky rice cakes in warm brown sugar sauce.


Guests can also explore the restaurant’s cocktail list, which gives classic serves a Chinese twist. Highlights include the Forbidden Pear Martini, a fragrant take on the martini; the Gilded Petal Old Fashioned; and the Puer Whisky Highball, offering a refreshing balance to the spice-led dishes.


The birthday celebrations continue from 5pm, when the first 33 diners at each restaurant will receive a pair of chopsticks; hidden among them is one golden pair per site. Whoever unwraps the winning chopsticks will receive free Noodle and Beer meals for a year, redeemable once a month for two people. With only two golden sets available across both locations, anticipation is expected to be high, and prizes will be claimed as soon as they are discovered.


Founded by Xiaoxiao Wang, Noodle and Beer has become a mainstay of London’s Sichuan dining scene. The restaurant champions the flavours of Chongqing and Sichuan through handmade noodles, house-made chilli oils, and a menu crafted with both authenticity and modern appeal. Its two London sites offer a contemporary take on Chinese street-food culture, combining comforting dishes with a relaxed, stylish setting.
