The National Gallery has announced the arrival of the ‘Picture Perfect Christmas’ Show, kicking off on 26th November through to 23 December 2022! Bringing art and theatre together, in an adventure of the secret life that lives within art, it’s going to be one magical show that the whole family can enjoy. The production, created with Boo Productions, will see Avercamp’s iconic 17th century oil painting, ‘A Winter Scene With Skaters Near A Castle’, adapted for the stage, transforming the theatre into a wintery theatrical delight. The Audience will be captivated by the story of two children Frederick and Maaike on their journey through the woodlands, meeting magical creatures, wandering through frosted landscapes and skating on glistening ice rinks. King’s Cross marked the launch of Christmas recently with the UK debut of Fashion Santa, (otherwise known as former runway model, Paul Mason).
