Ron Santiago de Cuba Rum partners with Kaffeine for a four-day pop-up in London

Rum lovers, this one’s for you! Ron Santiago de Cuba, the award-winning fan favourite Cuban rum is teaming up with Kaffeine, one of London’s favourite neighbourhood coffee spots, to bring a slice of Cuba to the city. For four days only, Kaffeine’s Eastcastle Street café will transform into Café Con Ron, a pop-up celebrating Cuba’s two great loves: coffee and rum.

Start your day the Cuban way:

From 8:30–10:30 am, swing by for free coffee, think bold Cuban Coffee, smooth Cortadito, and creamy Café Con Leche. Each one pairs perfectly with the tropical notes in Ron Santiago de Cuba’s aged rums (honey, chocolate, vanilla… you get the idea). Plus, you’ll get a sweet Cuban bite to kick off your morning.

When the sun goes down, the rum comes out:

From 5:30 pm–8:30 pm, enjoy complimentary rum cocktails and soak up the vibes. Outside, Eastcastle Street will buzz with sounds inspired by Cuba’s street vendors, courtesy of The Latin Formula. Inside, London-based DJ James Onur (Earthly Measures Records) will keep the energy flowing with Cuban house and classic beats.

On the menu (only at Café Con Ron):

  • Café Invierno – Ron Santiago de Cuba Añejo 8 Year Old, Mr Black coffee liqueur, winter-spiced honey, and espresso.

  • Café Ron Leche – A creamy mix of rum, Mr Black, chocolate bitters, and coconut cream with a festive golden twist.

  • La Espuma Dorada – Rum, coffee liqueur, espresso, and chocolate aroma, topped with silky vanilla foam.

Come for the coffee, stay for the rum, and soak up the culture, community, and flavours of Cuba.

No tickets, no sign-up,  just drop in and enjoy.

Infantino Hug & Cuddle Adjustable Hybrid Wrap – Review

Keeping your baby close and offering warmth and comfort is essential, but it can’t always be easy, this is where finding the perfect wrap/sling is essential. There are so many options on the market it can be quite daunting searching let alone buying the perfect one to suit you and your baby.

I tried out the Infantino Hug & Cuddle Adjustable Hybrid Wrap on my six-week-old baby to see if it could indeed offer warmth, comfort, security and ease allowing me to walk around the house and outdoors comfortably. I’ve tried wraps in the past where there is a lot of folding, wrapping and tying, and requires you to watch a YouTube video every time you put it on… which is pretty frustrating, the last thing you want is a wrap that causes anxiety every time you think about putting it on. This is the reason the Infantino Hug & Cuddle Adjustable Hybrid Wrap caught my attention. It has an easy all-in-one design that doesn’t require any complicated wrapping, folding, tucking and most importantly tying.

Yes I did look at a YouTube video on my first go (the brand’s one) and once I put it on it was easy to remember for the next time, no scrambling to re-watch it on my second go and no anxiety. It comes with both velcro and a buckle clip at the waist, head support and an adjustable padded back support, keeping your baby secure and comfortable, Having a six-week-old baby, it felt like he was too tiny to be in there, but once he’s in, he’s very secure and supported, allowing me to walk around the house freely doing my day-to-day tasks.

The sling is also great for easily getting your baby upright, my baby suffers from reflux and trapped wind and the carrier helps in keeping him upright to help alleviate his discomfort. The soft breathable fabric is machine washable and because it’s not baulky, it’s easy to fold up and carry in a bag when heading outdoors (if you fancy putting it in your changing bag). The wrap adjusts to fit you and your baby as they grow and I’m very much looking forward to putting him in it on a nice long spring walk, when the weather gets better. The Infantino Hug & Cuddle Adjustable Hybrid Wrap has the simplicity of a traditional carrier with the comfort of a wrap, I highly recommend it.
