New pod hotel Otherwander opens in Soho, with stays from £70 per night

A new hospitality concept has arrived in the heart of Soho, offering travellers a modern, design-led alternative to the traditional hotel experience. Now open at 92 Dean Street, Otherwander Soho combines smart technology, compact luxury and a prime location, with stays starting from just £70 per night.

Positioned in one of London's most vibrant neighbourhoods, Otherwander is designed for guests who want to spend less time checking in and more time exploring the city. Rather than focusing on large hotel rooms and unnecessary extras, the concept centres around thoughtfully designed sleeping pods known as "nests".

Available as either single or double spaces, each nest has been created to maximise comfort and functionality. Guests can expect premium bedding, adjustable lighting and temperature controls, blackout windows, sound-softened walls and integrated storage, creating a peaceful retreat from the energy of Soho outside.

Technology plays a key role throughout the experience. From booking to arrival, everything is handled digitally, allowing guests to check in online and access both the building and their pod through a QR-enabled Wanderpass stored on their phone. The result is a seamless stay designed around flexibility and convenience.

Location is one of Otherwander Soho's biggest draws. Situated just a short walk from Tottenham Court Road station and the Elizabeth line, guests are perfectly placed to explore London's theatres, restaurants, boutiques, cafés and nightlife. Whether visiting for business, a weekend break or a spontaneous city escape, the property offers an affordable base in the centre of the action.

Beyond the sleeping pods, guests have access to a dedicated social hub featuring fresh coffee, pastries, snacks and a self-service bar offering beer, wine and cocktails. Shared facilities have been designed with the same attention to detail, including spa-inspired bathrooms complete with rain showers and dedicated vanity areas.

With 566 pods and a concept built around simplicity, efficiency and value, Otherwander Soho aims to redefine what a city stay can look like. And while Soho marks the brand's first London opening, plans are already in place for future expansion into major cities worldwide.
