Affordable Art Fair returns for spring 2022

The Affordable Art Fair returns this spring, celebrating inspiring contemporary art with fairs in Battersea Park and Hampstead Heath. The Affordable Art Fair has refreshed the art market since its launch in 1999 with its fun and accessible approach to bringing affordable contemporary art to buyers.

Visitors to the fair can choose from a number of handpicked galleries, thousands of artworks, and also enjoy specially curated installations, talks, and much more. Both art fairs will be the perfect opportunity to find inspiration with unique artworks ranging in price from £50 – £7,500 (with many art pieces available under £500).

What else should you look out for at the Affordable Art Fairs?

Made in Arts London Showcase

In partnership with Made in Arts London, visitors to Affordable Art Fair, Hampstead will be able to snap up work by some of the best and brightest emerging artistic talents from across University of the Arts London’s (UAL) six colleges and institutes. The showcase will highlight works from the 2021 Made in Arts London cohort’s ‘Iridescent Collection’ – featuring artworks from emerging creatives across the mediums of print, photography, illustration, sculpture and ceramics. You will also be available to purchase online.

Jacksons Painting Prize 2022

With current submissions for the prestigious Jackson’s Painting Prize well underway, the Hampstead Fair will offer visitors an opportunity to see the UK finalists’ works up close. The showcase will feature works selected by an expert judging panel of artists, art advisors and leading figures in the contemporary art world – including Affordable Art Fair’s own UK Regional Managing Director, Jennifer Conner.

Family Hour – Bring the buggy and get creative

Family Hour returns from 11 am-12 pm at the weekend. During this hour families will be able to save on tickets and enjoy the fair with fewer crowds whilst keeping the little art lovers entertained with fun creative packs, face painting, and a variety of activities.
