Affordable Art Fair comes to Battersea 20th -23rd October

If the thought of buying art fills you with dread and you have no idea where to start you can go along to Battersea for the annual Affordable Art Fair next weekend. Hundreds of galleries from around the world are participating with artworks from as little as £50.

Keen to learn about NFT’s? You can rub shoulders with the creators behind them this year, as well as meet hundreds of digital artists exhibiting at the show. If you work up an appetite, you can choose from Moroccan street food by Harissa & Lemon, Neapolitan Wood-fired Pizza from Street Dough, salads and wraps from Acai Girls, delicious barista coffee from Routes, or just grab a drink at the Central Bar.

Having been in previous years my advice is to dress to impress – think statement necklace, colourful coat and wear trainers, you’ll be racking up steps as you explore the huge footprint and feast your eyes on the hottest artists around. Channel your inner Zandra Rhodes darling and you’ll fit right in. Sometimes the people watching is as good as the art itself.
