The Art of Banksy opens on 20th May in Seven Dials
Something BIG is coming to Covent Garden this month, the world’s largest touring collection of Banksy artworks. Titled ‘The Art of Banksy’, the hotly anticipated exhibition has over 70 pieces of art confirmed, including some of the artist’s most recognisable work from the years 1997 to 2008.
Opening on Thursday 20th May in the heart of Seven Dials, the collection includes the infamous ‘Brace Yourself’ artwork and its dodgem riding Grim Reaper, alongside iconic favourites such as Girl with a Balloon and Rude Copper. Highlighted across the globe as one not to be missed, this is the very first time the world’s largest touring exhibition of authentic Banksy Artworks comes to the UK, having already hosted over 750,000 visitors in exhibitions across the world.
In true Banksy style the exhibit will be housed in a vast 12,000 sq ft underground exhibition space, hidden in plain sight, right in the heart of Seven Dials. There will also be Graffi-tea for those wishing to make a day trip out of it, with scones and sandwiches served by Mercer Street Hotel. Unique afternoon tea packages are available as the perfect accompaniment to round off a visit to the exhibition.
