Review of Jusu Brothers in Westbourne Grove

Tucked away on Westbourne Grove, Jusu Brothers has quietly established itself as one of Notting Hill's go-to destinations for wholesome food that doesn't compromise on flavour. Inspired by Japanese principles of balance, simplicity and longevity, the café offers a calming escape from the pace of city life, pairing thoughtfully prepared dishes with a relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere.

The bright, minimalist interiors and welcoming service immediately set the tone, making it just as suited to a leisurely breakfast as a healthy lunch or afternoon coffee break. To begin, we sampled one of Jusu Brothers' signature wellness shots, a fiery blend of cayenne pepper, ginger, apple and lemon. It delivered a warming kick, balanced by the sweetness of the apple and a refreshing citrus finish. Alongside it, the Orange Blossom iced tea was light and wonderfully refreshing.

For the main event, the Salmon Teriyaki Salad perfectly showcased the café's fresh, nutrient-led approach to dining. A tender teriyaki-glazed salmon fillet was served over spinach, cabbage slaw, quinoa and cherry tomatoes, finished with creamy feta, crunchy pistachios, delicate red amaranth and a honey mustard dressing. Every element felt thoughtfully balanced, creating a colourful dish that was both satisfying and full of flavour.

The wider menu offers everything from fluffy pancakes and breakfast bowls to Chicken Katsu Sando and fresh smoothies, while speciality coffee from Volcano Coffee Works completes the experience.

With its welcoming atmosphere and nourishing menu, Jusu Brothers continues to prove that healthy eating doesn't have to be boring. Whether you're stopping by after a workout or catching up with friends over lunch, it's an easy neighbourhood favourite that's well worth a visit.
