London's biggest immersive gaming destination arcade arena opens in September

Gamers, get ready to step away from the screen. Arcade Arena, London's biggest immersive gaming destination, is opening on 5^th September, bringing three larger-than-life gaming experiences together under one roof. Created by award-winning immersive entertainment pioneer Tom Lionetti-Maguire, the mind behind The Crystal Maze Experience, Arcade Arena blends cutting-edge technology with live-action gameplay to transport visitors directly into the game.

Making its world premiere at the London opening is Alien Invasion, billed as the UK's first immersive drone-technology experience. Players join the Cosmic Cadets on a mission to save the universe from an extraterrestrial threat, combining cinematic technology, real-life alien droids and high-energy challenges for an adventure that promises to push immersive gaming into new territory.

Arcade classics are getting the supersized treatment too. PAC-MAN Live Experience transforms the iconic game into an illuminated real-life maze, where teams become PAC-MAN themselves, racing to collect power while attempting to avoid those all-too-familiar ghosts.

Those with a need for speed can head to Chaos Karts, which combines real electric go-karts with digital projection technology. Drivers race through ever-changing virtual worlds filled with power-ups and hazards, bringing video game-style racing into the real world without the need for headsets or screens.

Following the success of its Manchester location, the new London venue will be Arcade Arena's biggest yet with multiple gaming arenas alongside neon-lit spaces where players can recharge between challenges. Whether you're a nostalgic arcade fan, competitive gamer or simply searching for something completely different to do in London, Arcade Arena looks set to deliver plenty of adrenaline-fuelled fun.
