Covent Garden unveils new light iInstallation in partnership with Paul Smith

As part of London Fashion Week, Covent Garden has unveiled a stunning new immersive light installation, with over 1,000 lights installed across its historic Market Building. Launched in partnership with British designer and Floral Street resident Sir Paul Smith, the light show will be running from now until Sunday 3rd March.

The first partner in a line-up of several exciting illumination moments throughout the year, the series will strengthen Covent Garden’s heritage as a pioneer of public realm arts and culture in London.

In signature, Paul Smith style, a replication of the brand’s iconic strip motif creates a colourful sensory light show celebrating both the historic architectural structure of the Market Building and the designer’s unique style. Running daily from 4pm until 10pm, the hourly display will illuminate over 1,000 lights across the site’s 36 arches through the Market Building’s North and South Halls.

Times: Hourly 4pm – 10pm, until Sunday 3rd March

Address: Covent Garden – Market Building, Covent Garden Piazza, London, WC2E 8RF
