London is packed with places where you can gather your friends, let your hair down, and enjoy a little healthy competition, but few do it quite as well as Puttshack. Located in the heart of the city at Bank, this tech-infused mini golf destination combines next-level courses with a buzzing bar and restaurant, making it the perfect spot for birthdays, celebrations, or just a fun night out.
Puttshack isn’t your average mini golf experience. The courses are vibrant, brightly lit, and bursting with bold colours, each designed to keep you entertained from start to finish. What really sets it apart, though, is the clever technology. Every hole is tracked via an electronic leaderboard, meaning scores are automatically recorded, so there’s absolutely no chance of cheating (even if someone claims they definitely got a hole-in-one).

We visited on a Saturday evening, and while it was understandably busy, the experience was smooth from the moment we arrived. Check-in was quick and easy, and before we knew it, we were making our way to our assigned course, ready to have fun and unleash our competitive sides. Whether your group is casually competitive or takes winning very seriously, Puttshack manages to bring out everyone’s inner golfer.
Each hole keeps things exciting, and just when you think the game couldn’t get any better, you reach the interactive prize wheel at the end. Here, you have the chance to win 50% off food, a round of drinks or extra points. Naturally, we were feeling optimistic and fully expected to win big… sadly, luck wasn’t on our side that night. That said, I did manage to win extra points which boosted my final score, earning me the title of winner of the night, which honestly felt just as good as a prize.

After working up an appetite on the course, we headed to the restaurant. The menu is packed with comforting, crowd-pleasing food, including pizzas, burgers, and a selection of small plates that are perfect for sharing. Our standout dishes were the gyozas, empanadas, and the gooey chocolate brownie, which was the ideal sweet ending to the evening.
Overall, Puttshack Bank is a brilliant place to bring friends together for a fun, energetic experience. It’s lively, well-organised, and guaranteed to spark some friendly rivalry, so be warned, things can get competitive. My advice? Bring your A-game… and maybe save room for dessert.
