Dal Fiorentino launches in Notting Hill

Marking the fifth London location for the much loved Italian sandwich shop, Dal Fiorentino has arrived in Notting Hill. Located in the iconic Westbourne Grove, the new site brings the authentic taste of Florence to West London with its signature Schiacciata sandwiches.

Founded in 2022 by husband and wife duo Andrei and Cristina, Dal Fiorentino was born from a desire to share the flavours of their hometown, Florence, with London. Schiacciata is a a traditional Tuscan flatbread widely enjoyed across Florence, baked fresh daily and filled with premium Italian ingredients, including buffalo mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes, salami, Parma ham, and house-made pesto.

Guests can choose from 15+ freshly prepared sandwiches, made to order right in front of them, which they can either eat in store or take away with them.

Machiavelli; Tuscan pancetta, stracciatella, ‘nduja cream, grilled courgettes
Da Vinci; Mortadella, whole burrata, pistachio pesto, extra virgin olive oil
La Fiorentina; Fennel salami, pecorino, truffle honey, extra virgin olive oil

Covent Garden has announced a festive partnership with AMEX this Christmas with the launch of American Express Winter World. Covent Garden is now one of American Express’s most popular areas for Cardmembers to shop, dine and use their card with over 100 Covent Garden retailers and restaurants now accepting the card.

On Floral Street from the 3rd December, shoppers will be able to take a much-needed Christmas shopping break to immerse themselves in an enchanting winter world! Icy beverages and snow cones can be enjoyed at The Drift, the lounge’s snow-topped bar, and festive activities on offer include gift wrapping tutorials, snow globe-making workshops, and festive picture taking at the Christmas lights experience.

The lounge will open from Friday to Sunday on the first three weekends of December from 12 pm -7 pm (12 pm – 6 pm each Sunday). From 1st-24th December eligible American Express Cardmembers will receive a £10 statement credit when they spend £50+ across multiple transactions with Covent Garden’s participating shops and restaurants including Apple, Charlotte Tilbury, Tiffany & Co.
