Review of Tigermilk in Spitalfields

Tigermilk Spitalfields, located on Crispin Street, brings Latin American dining to East London with gorgeous interiors, flowing cocktails and a menu made for indulgent sharing. The restaurant fits up to 280 guests across an interconnected courtyard, orangery, terrace, and large central dining space. Tropical greenery and warm lighting create a dramatic hacienda-style atmosphere. At the centre sits a six-metre tequila bar lined with over 2,000 bottles. This centrepiece can make cancelling your evening plans feel totally reasonable!

atmosphere.

The baby truffle quesadilla was rich but not overly heavy and the sweet potato tacos were fresh, vibrant, and full of flavour (a standout dish, which I highly reccomend).

The “Green But Not Boring” salad more than justified its playful name. Peppery rocket, crisp broccoli florets and creamy avocado were lifted by caramelised hazelnuts and a sweet agave vinaigrette. My dining partner choose the Carne Asada, a British-cured beef flank steak that delivers smoky depth and tenderness, paired with a vibrant chimichurri sauce that cuts through the richness perfectly.

For dessert I choose the Brioche Perdue, Tigermilk’s decadent take on French toast, it was indulgent dessert, exactly how I like it! Creamy richness with candied hazelnuts, adding crunch and texture.

New to Spitalfields, (opened only for three weeks), I can see why it’s creating quite the stir! The food is fresh, vibrant and full of bold flavours, with generous portions, offering excellent value for money. Tigermilk takes its cocktail offering as seriously as its food. Flowing margaritas, smoky mezcal cocktails, and vibrant tropical serves make the drinks menu feel indulgent and designed for long evenings with friends.

If your ideal dining out involves bold Latin American flavours, cocktails and interiors dramatic enough to make your camera roll suffer, then Tigermilk Spitalfields deserves a spot on your radar.
