Noodle & Beer Celebrates Mid-Autumn Festival with Mooncakes and Cocktail Pairings

London’s Noodle & Beer is marking this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival with something rather delicious, launching a collection of artisan mooncakes, specially created cocktail pairings and a limited-edition gift set across its Chinatown and Spitalfields restaurants.

For those celebrating over dinner, three sweet mooncake flavours will be available: Custard, Chocolate and Matcha. Each has its own cocktail pairing designed to complement the flavours, giving the traditional treat a playful contemporary twist. The Matcha Made in Heaven combines aged rum with coconut milk, matcha tea and cacao to accompany the matcha mooncake, while Strawberry Velvet blends rum, cacao, strawberry and coconut milk with the chocolate version. Completing the trio, the Full Moon Whisky Sour, made with Toki whisky, yuzu, lemon and sugar, is paired with the custard mooncake.

Naturally, there’s no need to stop there. Guests can order the mooncakes alongside Noodle & Beer’s signature Sichuan dishes, from crispy beef jerky and succulent chicken to its popular courgette fries with lemon pepper and Persian spices.

For gifting, the restaurant has also launched a limited-edition Deluxe Mooncake Gift Set (£75). Presented with a handcrafted Longquan Celadon cup, bamboo lantern stands and greeting card, each box contains four artisan flavours: Chunky Red Bean, Chestnut, Taiwan Pineapple and Firewood Black Sesame. Whether you’re celebrating the festival with family or simply need an excuse to indulge in mooncakes and cocktails, Noodle & Beer is putting a modern spin on the tradition this season.

The Mid-Autumn Festival collection is available at Noodle & Beer’s Chinatown and Spitalfields restaurants until 25th September 2026.

Address: 27 Wardour St, London W1D 6PR (Chinatown)
