Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition to Open at Immerse LDN in March

This spring, a new immersive exhibition will bring Ancient Egypt to life at Immerse LDN, located on the Excel London Waterfront. Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition, opening on 28th March 2025, invites visitors on a 90-minute journey through the captivating history of Egypt and the mysterious life of Pharaoh Tutankhamun.

Featuring cutting-edge technology, the exhibit spans six galleries and combines 8-metre-high video projections, a 360-degree Virtual Reality experience and an interactive digital metaverse room, offering a truly modern way to explore an ancient civilisation, and relive the famous 1922 discovery in the Valley of the Kings.

Among the exhibition’s highlights is a world-premiere hologram of the mummification process, giving visitors an up-close view of how Tutankhamun was prepared for the afterlife. Guests can also enjoy seeing original artefacts from the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, including items from as far back as 4000 B.C., along with high-quality replicas and facsimiles. The experience’s educational depth is complemented by an immersive soundtrack, composed for the exhibition and performed by an orchestra, further enhancing the atmosphere.

Following successful runs in cities across the globe, the exhibition is set to make its London debut for a strictly limited 14-week period, closing on 27th June 2025. With something for history enthusiasts and families alike, Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition promises to be a must-see event this spring.

Dates and times: 28th March to 29th June 2025

Price: Adults tickets from £20, Children from £15.50
