The lastminute.com London Eye transforms one pod into a sky-high sweet emporium

Celebrate the magic of Christmas with a sweet twist as the lastminute.com London Eye takes on a delicious transformation this December. Soaring 443ft over the capital, the iconic landmark will be turning into the ‘Sky Candy Emporium,’ delivering a one-of-a-kind confectionery wonderland experience.

Starting December 2nd, one of the London Eye’s 32 pods will undergo a vibrant makeover, becoming a floating sweet shop filled to the brim with delectable treats. Guests are in for a treat as they embark on a journey through a candy-packed pick ‘n’ mix forest, reaching up to pluck floating candy floss from sugar-filled clouds above. After indulging in the sweet delights, visitors can head over to the Chocolate Bar for a tantalising experience with ‘The Five Senses Chocolate Flight.’ This guided chocolate-tasting session explores the mysteries of the five senses and how they influence the flavours of the nation’s favourite confectionery.

Those enjoying the panoramic views of London’s skyline will have the chance to sip on a unique themed cocktail or mocktail. The ‘Up to the Clouds’ cocktail, a vodka-based concoction, fizzes and magically changes colour based on the chosen sherbet flavour, offering a delightful and personalised experience as guests float up into the clouds. The new pod provides the perfect backdrop for festive selfies, adorned with wacky swirly-patterned seating, giant lollipop decorations, and tubes filled with colourful candy.

Get ready for a Christmas celebration that’s as sweet as it is memorable! The Sky Candy Emporium will run from 2nd December to 10th December 2023, if you don’t want to miss out on the candy fun make sure to book your tickets soon.
