Looking for a family day out that won't break the bank this summer? Silverstone Museum has unveiled one of the season's best-value offers, with Kids Go Free and Kids Eat Free throughout the school holidays.

Running until 31 August, the double offer allows children aged 15 and under to enjoy free admission and a complimentary meal when accompanied by a full-paying adult, making it the perfect excuse for a pit stop at the home of British motorsport.

Located trackside at the world-famous Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire, the award-winning museum takes visitors on an interactive journey through the history of British racing. From Formula 1 legends to motorcycle champions, immersive exhibits and iconic vehicles bring decades of motorsport history roaring to life.

New for 2026 is Black Cats & Chequered Flags, a multiplayer mixed reality and virtual reality experience exploring the remarkable story of Alberto Ascari, Formula 1's first double World Champion. Visitors can also test their skills on the museum's impressive 25-metre Scalextric recreation of the Silverstone circuit, discover the site's fascinating past as an RAF Bomber Command training base during the Second World War, and get up close to championship-winning machines driven by the likes of Nigel Mansell, Jenson Button, Lando Norris and Valentino Rossi.

After exploring the exhibits, younger visitors can recharge with a complimentary meal from the museum café. Choices include family favourites such as pasta, popcorn chicken, Quorn nuggets or fish fingers with a side, alongside picnic-style options including sandwiches, fruit, yoghurt and snacks.
