Sound Bites: A New Food and Music Festival Arrives at Syon Park This May

London’s summer events calendar gains an exciting new addition this spring as Sound Bites makes its debut at The Clementine at Syon Park on Friday 8 May and Saturday 9 May 2026. Conceived as a celebration of flavour, fire and live performance, the two-day event brings together chef-led dining, headline music acts and immersive food experiences, all in support of Children with Cancer UK.

A Festival with Purpose

From the outset, the festival has aligned itself with meaningful impact. At least £10 from every ticket sold will be donated directly to Children with Cancer UK, helping to fund pioneering research and improve treatment options.

The partnership will be visible on site through The Heroes Stage, a dedicated space where children affected by cancer interview well-known figures from sport, television and literature. Early guests include Paula Radcliffe, with additional names to be announced. The stage offers not only inspiration, but a powerful platform for young voices at the heart of the charity’s work.

Sharing Good Food

Sound Bites is built around the simple idea that food and music are better experienced together. Across the Syon Park grounds, guests can expect pop-up restaurants, open-fire cooking, street food traders and curated dining moments designed to move seamlessly from afternoon indulgence into evening celebration. Among the standout experiences are The Classics Feasts, where Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar will serve British pub favourites alongside classic Indian dishes. For those drawn to smoke and flame, Big Nath’s BBQ Firepit Feasts place live-fire cooking centre stage, with ember-roasted dishes and bold flavours served straight from the coals.

Festival partner BrewDog joins forces with Ginger Wings for the Big Wing Weekend, pairing BrewDog’s signature beers with multi-award-winning wings created by Jack Blumenthal. The wider Food Court will showcase some of the UK’s most exciting street food traders, serving global flavours ideal for grazing between sets. Tucked away from the main arena, The Speakeasy, presented by Sofar Sounds, offers a more intimate interlude, velvet sofas, wine, charcuterie boards and stripped-back performances from emerging artists and surprise guests.

Bars across the site will pour cocktails, craft beer, wine and low- and no-alcohol options, with shared tables and relaxed seating encouraging festival-goers to settle in and stay awhile.

Good Vibes to Carry the Weekend

The music line-up blends nostalgia, energy and festival-ready fun. Friday night features an all-star DJ programme headlined by a Faithless DJ Set with Sister Bliss, alongside sets from Denise van Outen, Laura Whitmore and Leigh Francis’s Record Club.

On Saturday afternoon, indie favourites The Hoosiers take to the stage, before Saturday night culminates in Ricky Wilson presents The Fabulous Adjustable Band, joined by special guests Gary Stringer (Reef), Natasha Hamilton (Atomic Kitten) and Simon Fowler (Ocean Colour Scene). Further performers will be announced in due course.

Future Bites

Sound Bites at Syon Park marks the first chapter of what is planned as a wider UK series, with additional dates confirmed for Tunbridge Wells (12–14 June 2026), Reigate (10–12 July 2026) and St Albans (4–6 September 2026). Programming for these locations will be announced soon.

Sound Bites offers more than a weekend out. It is a festival rooted in generosity of flavour, of sound and of spirit, inviting guests to come together, celebrate well and make a meaningful difference in the process.
