Flatout Brings a New Family Fitness Challenge to London This September

Looking for a way to get the whole family moving this autumn? Flatout is making its London debut this September, bringing a community-led fitness challenge to the iconic Old Billingsgate Market for three action-packed days. Taking place from 25th – 27th September, with Tower Bridge and The Shard providing an impressive backdrop, the event combines running with a series of accessible workout stations designed to get participants moving, regardless of their fitness level.

Unlike traditional fitness races where speed and personal bests often take centre stage, Flatout puts participation first. Whether you're a seasoned gym-goer, complete beginner or simply looking for an active family day out, the emphasis is on getting involved, having fun and crossing the finish line. Making its debut in London is Sidekicks, a new adult-and-junior race category designed especially for families. Parents, grandparents and older siblings can team up with younger participants to tackle the course together, turning the challenge into a shared experience rather than a solo competition.

There's plenty happening away from the start line too. Flatout is creating a festival-style atmosphere throughout the weekend, complete with live DJs, family-friendly entertainment, food vendors and wellness experiences, giving spectators just as much reason to come along. The London event will also support longstanding children's charity The Feathers Association, with a percentage of ticket sales helping to fund sporting, recreational and community opportunities for young people. Following successful events in Northwich and Ipswich, Flatout's arrival in the capital offers a refreshingly inclusive take on the growing fitness-race trend.

So, if the family could do with swapping a little screen time for some start-line action, this could be the autumn challenge to sign up for.
