Vikings: The Immersive Experience is landing at Dock X this March

This March, London welcomes a powerful new cultural attraction -Vikings: The Immersive Experience landing at Dock X. Far more than a battle-led retelling, this ambitious exhibition offers an emotional and educational journey into the heart of Viking society, centred on one of its most influential dynasties. Visitors are invited to step inside the world of King Ragnar Lodbrok, Queen Kraka (Aslaug) and their legendary sons, including Ivar the Boneless and Bjorn Ironside.

Blending large-scale physical sets with cutting-edge technology, the experience unfolds across richly detailed environments designed to fully immerse guests in the Viking age. Highlights include a dramatic forest-style discovery space and a towering mythological Yggdrasil, also known as the World Tree, brought to life through light, sound and projection. High-resolution video mapping, virtual reality and a sweeping cinematic score combine to transport visitors back to 9th-century Scandinavia and the lands the Vikings once explored and conquered.

A defining feature of the exhibition is its focus on Queen Kraka, whose wisdom, foresight and spiritual power are often overshadowed in popular history. Through storytelling and immersive visuals, visitors follow her journey from hidden royal lineage to revered völva, revealing the pivotal role she played in shaping one of the most feared families of the North.

The experience culminates in a striking 360-degree cinematic presentation set around a real Viking longship, guiding audiences through a tale of love, fate, vengeance and legacy. Accessible, multi-sensory and thoughtfully designed, Vikings: The Immersive Experience will appeal to history lovers, families, school groups and fans of Vikings alike.

Tickets start from £19 for children and £23 for adults, with concessions and VIP options available. Public opening on 13th March 2026.

Address: Dock X, Unit 1 Canada Water, Surrey Quays Rd, London, SE16 2XU

Saco Hair – Review

Charlotte street, also known as the spine of Fitzrovia, may be known as a place to head for dinner, but take a short walk to Charlotte Place and you’ll find the place to “superfood” your hair. Saco Hair’s innovative Supernature products are plant derived and organic, to enrich your hair and scalp. Products aside, I got myself booked into the salon for a haircut and blow dry to see if their expertise transcends the hair care range.

Entering the salon, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome and soon sat down to discuss my desired haircut – a trim with long and short layers. OK, not quite the cutting edge request but I was excited, it had been a while and the split ends were starting to get too comfortable, multiplying on a daily basis.

After a soothing hair wash, I sank into the seat as I received a scalp massage, just the thing to help me relax and unwind. My hairstylist got to work, creating some beautiful long and short layers and tidied up my bangs. I was happy with my new haircut, it was effortless and quick, I walked out like a new woman!
