Rooftop performances provide teaser for West End Live

If you happened to be walking past Oxford Street’s John Lewis and Partners’ on Tuesday 31st May, you may have thought you heard the sweet melodies of &Juliet songs emanating from the rooftop. Don’t worry, we all heard it too. What you heard were lead actors Miriam-Teak Lee (Juliet) and Tom Francis (Romeo), performing songs from the award-winning musical from Willows on the roof, the store’s rooftop cocktail bar and events venue.

Keep looking up and you may be lucky enough to catch one of a series of surprise pop-up performances across one of London’s iconic West End rooftops. Sing it from the Rooftops is a teaser for Europe’s biggest free musical theatre festival West End Live, returning on Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th June 2022. As a warm-up to the event, the performances aim to make theatre, arts and culture accessible to everyone, showing that London is open to people of all backgrounds, whether you are a resident or visitor.

Each Sing it from the Rooftops appearance will be teased before the performance on the West End Live and Official London Theatre Social channels. Those fortunate enough to witness one of the performances will be in with a chance of winning a West End Live queue jump. Fingers crossed!
