Rooftop ice rink returns to Skylight Tobacco Dock

Get your skates ready for the return of London’s Favourite Rooftop Ice Rink at Skylight Tobacco Dock. This winter promises an even more extraordinary experience, featuring an enchanting igloo village, a cosy après-ski lodge and of course, the iconic rooftop ice rink.

The venue has undergone a festive transformation, turning Skylight’s sunlit terraces into a sparkling urban igloo village. Adorned with over thirty beautifully decorated trees, pergolas adorned in baubles, and croquet lawns covered in real ice. Skaters of all levels, from seasoned pros to beginners, can strap on their skates and twirl around the rooftop ice rink surrounded by glimmering lights.

Sessions are available for just £15 per 45 minutes, starting from November 10th. Resident DJs will provide the perfect soundtrack to the party atmosphere on Thursday to Saturday evenings, while Sunday afternoons cater to families with a special ice-skating package for the little ones. The brand-new Igloo Village on the mezzanine, built to withstand the London winter, offers panoramic cityscape views.

For larger groups, the mezzanine also houses heated Alpine Huts that can host up to 14 guests. On Level 9, the sheltered Après Skate Bar creates a mountain retreat ambiance, complete with low-lit benched seating, spiced mulled wine, fir trees, and warming cocktails. Skylight Tobacco Dock introduces a new menu this winter, featuring gooey melted cheese on jacket potatoes, served with Wiltshire ham, salami, and pickles.
