Review of Thai Spa - A Restorative Thai Spa Experience

Let’s be honest, in a city that never stops buzzing, stumbling upon a spa that delivers indulgence and tranquility is a hidden luxury worth sharing. I visited Thai Square Spa on Northumberland Avenue, just a five-minute stroll from Charing Cross station and a stones throw from Trafalga Square. I went in search of some serious zen, and trust me, it did not disappoint.

Step inside and you’ll find yourself in a former Victorian Turkish bath, now transformed into a haven of opulence with a blend of Thai, Roman, and Turkish vibes. Think flickering candlelight, soothing tunes, and an atmosphere so peaceful you’ll forget you’re just minutes from the chaos of central London.

For the ultimate treat-yourself moment, I had the Sen Space all to myself,

private spa goals achieved! I hopped between the jacuzzi pool, sauna, steam chamber, and even braved the ice fountain (hello, instant wake-up call) before sinking into the dreamy Thai meditation and Roman relaxation zones. It’s pure bliss, honestly. The hot-cold ritual is like a reset button for your body, leaving you feeling brand new.

After floating out of the Sen Space, my lovely therapist Jane whisked me away (with a cup of Bael fruit tea, naturally) to a therapy room decked out with stunning Thai wall carvings. First up: a traditional thai rose footbath followed by a back massage that melted away every last bit of London stress (thanks to Jane’s therapeutic touch). Then the Royal Golden Maharani Facial, think 24- carat gold, collagen-boosting magic, and a head and shoulder massage to really leave me in relaxation bliss. If you’re after that golden glow (and a serious pamper), the Golden Maharani Facial is the perefect treatment.

Thai Spa also offers Body treatments, Facial treatments, Scalp and Foot

treatments, Maternity therapies, jet-lag fixes for travellers and all the wet

treatments you could dream of. As well as curated packages to couples packages, every ritual is designed to soothe your senses and leave you floating out the door. Inspired by ancient healing, it’s the perfect escape from the daily London hustle.

Thai Spa brings all the serenity of a far-flung retreat right to the heart of London, no passport required. Book your escape HERE.
