Pocketsquare Presents: The Doppelgärden East London’s New Skyline Spritz Terrace

High above Whitechapel, summer has arrived in full bloom. PocketSquare’s terrace has transformed into the Doppelgärden; a lush rooftop oasis inspired by the bold, botanical flavours of Doghouse Distillery’s Doppelgänger Aperitivo.

Launched in May, this vibrant new venue pairs East London energy with European summer style. Framed by sweeping views across the city from Canary Wharf to The Gherkin, the Doppelgärden Summer Spritz Terrace has the 3 winning features of sunshine, skyline, and standout cocktails.

Crafted by PocketSquare’s Head Mixologist Lucrezia Frosutto in collaboration with Doghouse Distillery, the exclusive pop-up menu celebrates bold flavours and seasonal botanicals. Expect striking serves in a setting of greenery and glass, where modern mixology meets London’s only grain-to-bottle spirits producer.

At the heart of the menu, the London Spritz is a citrus forward, bittersweet blend of Doghouse’s Italian-style English aperitivo, hibiscus, grapefruit, and soda water.

Other drinks on the fruit-forward menu include:
Cherry Negroni, Banana Collins and a Baller Club; a summery blend of award-winning Baller Vodka, lemon juice, sugar syrup and fresh raspberries.

Guests at the terrace can also enjoy a menu of light bites and sharing dishes with their cocktails. Dishes on the menu include Fritto Misto, Arancinette and Polpette.

Address: PocketSquare Skyline Bar & Terrace, 9th floor, Hyatt Place London City East, 45 Whitechapel Road, E1 1DU
