Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean is coming to Secret Cinema

The Secret Cinema team have announced their latest theatretical masterpiece with Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Immersive Adventure, an epic new live experience launching exclusively in London for a limited 10 week run.


For the first time ever, Disney's iconic film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl has been transformed into a fully immersive theatrical adventure. Created by Secret Cinema's award winning team, the production combines cinematic sets, live performances, spectacular stunts, a live band and interactive storytelling, allowing guests to step into the world of pirates and become part of the action.


Guests can explore richly detailed environments, encounter familiar characters and experience the excitement of the high seas as the story unfolds around them, culminating in a spectacular finale worthy of Captain Jack Sparrow himself. The production will also mark the opening of Secret Cinema's new flagship venue at Greenwich Peninsula, just moments from The O2 and North Greenwich station, creating a new destination for immersive entertainment in London.

Oxford Street launches Magic Days to put you in the festive spirit

Oxford Street is bringing the Christmas cheer to one-and-all by reigniting its ‘Magic Days’ series for a second year running. With special in-store surprises, complimentary gifts, street entertainment and much more, visitors to Oxford Street will be treated to some much needed yuletide joy.

Saturday 2nd December marked the first ‘Magic Day’, and with only two more ‘Magic Days’ to experience on 9th and 16th December, you better mark your diaries, as you wouldn’t want to miss out! Here’s a round up of some of the magic.

Oxford Street’s got talent

The world famous street will come to life with incredible performers, from gravity defying stilt walkers to talented steel drum bands, and clockwork ballerinas.

Get your skates on

If you fancy a little ice skating, head to Skate West End in Hanover Square, in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. There is also a central bar where you can grab yourself a hot festive drink and watch the skaters fly by.

Interactive snow globe at Outernet

Transport yourself to a winter wonderland at the life-sized snow globe presented by Uniqlo at Outernet. Make snow Angels on the huge screen and lose yourself in the interactive festive games, all completely free!

Illuminating the Arctic Night at Frameless

Immersive art experience Frameless is sprinkling some magic with ‘Illuminating the Arctic Night’ from acclaimed Scandinavian artist and musician Lela Amparo, after you’ve had your immersive art fix, head to the Café Bar and enjoy the festive menu.

Eye popping windows

Feast your eyes on the beautiful Christmas window displays up and down Oxford street. Selfridges’ and Liberty’s grand and creative windows are enough to blow even Santa’s socks off. Check out newly opened Miniso’s storefront which is like a cutesy warm cuddle for your eyes. Inside, enter a colourful world of innovative festive plushies and fun family gifts.

Visit Santa at John Lewis

Take your kids, and even your beloved dogs to John Lewis where they can meet old St Nick himself. Kindly taking time out of his busy December schedule, he’ll be hanging out at the in-store grotto to see who has been naughty or nice. Book online in advance.

Snow Fairy experience at Lush

Christmas treats with Swarovski:

Swarovski is inviting you inside to sip on a warm hot chocolate and delight in complimentary live biscuit personalisation with every purchase on 9th December.

Yuletide Yummies

Get your tastebuds tingling at Market Halls with world street food cuisine cooked up by innovative vendors. Look out for festive dishes and while you’re there, kick back and enjoy the live music on offer over a tipple.

Boom Battle Bar is offering diners a special seasonal menu with a side of crazy golf or shuffleboard. The menu will run 9th & 16th December.

Bond Street Tea Rooms will be offering a special afternoon tea, where visitors can indulge in cicchetti, finger sandwiches, scones, and Italian-inspired patisseries with a seasonal twist.

Twist Museum

Although not technically a Christmas offering,… We couldn’t leave the Twist museum out when visiting Oxford Street. You will be taken on a mind-bending journey where your perceptions are tested as you walk through the museum participating in all the tasks. Great fun for all the family.

A time of year for giving

Oxford Street has partnered with children’s health charity Starlight to run a special donation programme. Members of the public can sponsor an Oxford Street star from the world-famous light installation to help make a child’s stay in hospital brighter through play. Visitors can sponsor a star for £10.00, making a big difference for a child in hospital this Christmas.
