Learn how to temper chocolate with Cook club’s new [behind the counter] series with Late Night Pudding Club

Cook Club’s first [behind the counter] session is set to be a chocoholic’s dream. On 21st October, the founders of Late Night Pudding Club, Siân Bliss and Josh Attwood, invite guests to learn how to make their beautiful Mezcalita chocolate bars from scratch, with cocktails, a little chocolate science and plenty of hands-on fun along the way.

Twice a month, Cook Club throws open the doors of Mission Kitchen, a living, working commercial kitchen and home to London’s most diverse community of food founders. Its new [behind the counter] series gives guests the chance to learn directly from the makers who’ve spent years perfecting their craft, discovering the tricks, techniques and little details that make their creations so special.

First up: an evening of cocktails and chocolate making funwith Late Night Pudding Club. Things kick off with a mezcal margarita from Josh and a few savoury snacks before guests roll up their sleeves and get stuck into the art of making fresh chocolate. Working in small groups, guests will whip up two delicious ganaches, chilli orange and vanilla bean white chocolate, before piping them into milk chocolate shells. Siân will then guide everyone through the magic of tempering chocolate by hand.

Once set, the bars are tapped out of their moulds and given the finishing touches: a decadent chocolate drizzle and a sprinkle of flaky salt. The best bit? Everyone leaves with two handmade bars, boxed up to take home, plus a recipe card to recreate the chocolate-making magic in their own kitchen!

Tickets costs £80, click here to book a spot! From 6pm - 9pm.

Includes: a welcome mezcal margarita (or a non-alcoholic alternative), savoury snacks, two Mezcalita bars to take home, and a recipe card (Ages 18+).

Mour to open in Marylebone this June bringing mediterranean flair to Marylebone

2 min read

Marylebone is set to welcome a stylish new all-day dining destination this summer with the launch of Mour, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant opening this June on Seymour Street. Created by The Leonard Hotel in collaboration with Emerald Hospitality Group, one of the UK’s fastest-growing hospitality operators, Mour promises to bring relaxed elegance, seasonal cooking and a warm neighbourhood feel to one of central London’s most established postcodes.

Set within a beautifully reimagined Georgian townhouse, Mour will feature an intimate 60-cover dining room alongside a hidden 20-seat courtyard complete with a retractable roof, making it a year-round escape in the heart of the city. With its own dedicated entrance on Seymour Street, the restaurant has been designed to feel like a tucked-away retreat for both locals and visitors alike.

The menu will take inspiration from Mediterranean dining culture, focusing on seasonal British produce cooked with southern European influence. Guests can expect ingredient-led dishes designed for sharing, from freshly made pastas and vibrant vegetables to responsibly sourced meats and seafood. The offering is intended to move seamlessly from laid-back lunches to more elevated evening dining.

At the centre of the space will be a lively bar with counter seating, serving signature martini-led cocktails alongside a Mediterranean-focused wine list. Interiors, designed by Marta Gaset Studio, will balance British heritage with contemporary touches, combining open fireplaces, curated artwork and tapestries with marble accents and clean, modern lines.

For founder Saachi Sehgal, whose family owns The Leonard Hotel next door, Mour is rooted in personal history and hospitality. Named as a subtle nod to Seymour Street, the restaurant aims to celebrate “the more in life”; longer lunches, another bottle of wine and conversations that stretch long into the evening.

With its all-day approach and transportive courtyard setting, Mour looks set to become one of Marylebone’s most exciting openings of the summer.
