Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain - The Best Bits is coming to Apollo Theatre this summer

This summer, get ready for a hilariously horrible trip through history as Birmingham Stage Company storms back into London’s West End with Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain – The Best Bits! From 30th July to 31st August, families can enjoy a laugh-out-loud adventure packed with the weirdest, wildest and most wonderfully gruesome moments from British history.


Celebrating an incredible 21 years of Horrible Histories Live on Stage and 15 fantastic years in the West End, this special anniversary spectacular brings together the greatest gory hits from the much-loved Barmy Britain series.

Expect a riot of rotten rulers, dastardly deeds and delightfully disgusting characters, from gunpowder Guy Fawkes to the pongy Nightsoil Men, the plague, and plenty more madness. It’s fast, funny and full of fascinating facts that will have the whole family laughing (and learning) all summer long.
