Frameless Wildlife Comedy Photography opens this month
FRAMELESS, London's largest permanent immersive art experience will open a new residency celebrating ten years of the Nikon Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards from 12 September through January 2027. Staged in the venue's Blank Canvas Gallery, the experience brings together 91 award-winning photographs from the competition's first decade, arranged across seven habitats with spatial sound designed to place visitors inside each environment, from breaking waves on the shoreline to the hush of the forest floor.
The show spans surprised seals and sassy penguins on beach shores through to dancing monkeys and ninja prairie dogs in grassland scenes, with each image placed within the habitat where it was captured. The competition, founded in 2015, uses humour to raise awareness of wildlife conservation and works with a grassroots conservation partner each year; in 2026 the partner is the Born Free Foundation.
Entry to the Blank Canvas Gallery is included in standard FRAMELESS admission, which starts at £29.50 for adults and £20 for children, with the experience running through October half term and the Christmas holidays.
