Festive Cocktail Recipes from Pantalones Tequila

Just in time for the festive season, Pantalones Tequila Blanco, co-founded by Matthew and Camila McConaughey, has made its UK supermarket debut, landing on shelves in over 200 Waitrose stores nationwide.

Its first-ever supermarket listing couldn’t come at a better moment, making it a standout drink to enjoy and share over Christmas celebrations.

This premium organic tequila takes its name from the Spanish word Pantalones, meaning trousers (or pants in the US) and also Spanish slang for guts. Pantalones Tequila is all about having the guts to make that next move, to have fun and not take things too seriously. 

Pantalones Tequila can be served in a number of delicious cocktails, we have listed a couple below, for you to impress your guests this festive season.  

Pantalones Tequila Santa Pants 

Ingredients:

50 ml Pantalones Tequila Blanco

50 ml Cranberry Juice 

12 ml Lime Juice 

Top with Ginger Beer 

Garnish with Cranberries and a sprig of Rosemary

Method: 

Add ice to the shaker. Add Pantalones Tequila Blanco, cranberry juice and lime juice to the shaker and shake

Pour into a glass and top with ginger beer

Garnish with cranberries and a sprig of rosemary

Pantalones Tequila Blanco Margarita

Ingredients:

60 ml Pantalones Organic Tequila (Blanco or Reposado)

30 ml Organic Lime Juice

15 ml Organic Agave Nectar

Organic Lime Wheel (for garnish)

Method: 

Rim the edge of a rocks glass with a lime wedge, then dip the rim in salt to coat, set aside

Add the tequila, lime juice, and agave nectar to a shaker with ice

Shake until well-chilled

Strain over fresh ice into the prepared glass

Garnish with a lime wheel and enjoy your refreshing cocktail!
