Fairgame opens up in Canary Wharf

Roll up, roll up, there’s a new game in town, and you’re invited. Fairgame is an enormous new renovation in Canary Wharf that’s getting everyone competitive. Think RFID wristbands as you see at Disneyland, delicious food and unique cocktails, all wrapped in a fairground theme that’s built just for adults.

Almost like you’re in the casino from Diamonds are Forever, Fairgame features nine games that are updated versions of whack-a-mole, balloon blast, steel can alley and some surprises! You have multiple chances to win the custom-created teddy by racking up the top score.

The games are just half the reason to go to Fairgame though. The selection of food and drinks has had special treatment too. You can eat all the cotton candy you can muster, popcorn, but there’s also pizza, tacos, burgers and cocktails to power you up for 75 minutes of gameplay. Resident street food vendors on site include Burger and Beyond, Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana and Dos Mas Tacos. All reasonably priced and epic portions; no one is getting ripped off. There are plenty of drinks to be had, too, from unique cocktails to the trusty gin and tonic; the folks at Fairgame have got you covered. Make sure you try the custom lager on tap, too; it’s called ‘Bear Goggles’ (£5.75 a pint).

There’s a package for every budget, but if you just want to play the games and not sample the delicious street food, you’ll part for £13 per person for 75-minutes of game time. Add two drinks and a meal, and you’re just looking at £37. No one’s kicking you out after your game time ends if you just want to kick back in one of the fun booths and drink and eat more. There are also big group packages (+16) and party packages too that begin at £42 per person (minimum numbers apply).

So, run, don’t walk to Fairgame, the hottest new long-term attraction at Canary Wharf! Make sure you snap an Insta against the fluffy bear backdrop and tag us, oh and look out for the secret dodgem!

Fairgame is open every day from 11:30an except Mondays. Closing times vary, but nothing earlier than 11pm and 1am on Thursday to Saturday. Book your ticket(s) now at www.wearefairgame.com, or just look out for the 20ft yellow duck at Fisherman’s Walk just along from the Elizabeth line!
