Connaught Village plants 70 trees

Connaught Village, The Hyde Park Estate celebrated 70 years of the Estate and honoured Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee by planting 70 trees throughout the neighbourhood. A varying variety of trees have been planted, bringing more greenery to the area.

In association with The Queen’s Green Canopy, the new trees are a part of a larger initiative, which invites people from across the United Kingdom to “Plant a Tree for the Jubilee”.

Last Friday (25th March) the Chair of the Hyde Park Estate Association, Allen Zimbler, planted a crab apple tree and was joined by Vice Chair Sally Martin and various committee members plus the local community in a planting ceremony in Connaught Village’s tranquil Oxford Square. We certainly can’t wait to see these new trees blossom! More beautiful green spaces is exactly what we need in London!

In Connaught Village you will find boutique shops and sought-after restaurants, just a short walk from Marble Arch, Oxford Street and Hyde Park. To find out more on Connaught Village visit https://www.connaught-village.co.uk
