Astrid launches Astrid Atelier

London’s tiniest bakery is getting bigger, as Alexandra Park’s Astrid announces the opening of their sister site, Astrid Atelier. Based just a few doors down at number 114 Alexandra Park Road, the new venue will be an extension of their flagship and bijoux kiosk bakery. Offering an enhanced menu of of artisan sourdough breads and lunch options.

 

With the range now extended to include savoury items, key menu items include; Heritage Tomato Pain Suisse, Red Onion & Stilton Focaccia and a twice-baked classic Smoked Ham & Cheddar Croissant. On Saturdays they will also be feeding hungry brunch lovers Bacon Morning Rolls with Astrid Breakfast Ketchup, and on other days they will be hosting Pizza Pop-ups by Astrid Executive Baker Matteo di Russo, sourdough masterclasses and the return of weekly delivery breakfast.

 

Seating 20 people both inside and out, with 12 bar stools bordering the window lined frontage, an ideal spot to pause and witness the chefs at work whilst enjoying a coffee, soft drink or even a glass of wine.

Step into the realm of ancient mythology and modern luxury at Circe’s Waterloo Rooftop Bar, named after the enchanting mythical goddess, poised to transport guests to a celestial Mediterranean paradise. Circe’s unveils its new 550-capacity rooftop oasis on Friday, May 24th. Guests are beckoned to bask in the sun-soaked ambience while indulging in Circe’s captivating array of cocktails and culinary delights.


Guests will be treated to Circe’s packed schedule of rooftop entertainment, featuring nightly live music performances, guest DJ sets, and themed brunches. The ‘Oh My Gods!’ Bottomless Brunch starts on June 1st, offering two hours of live entertainment, bottomless bubbles, cocktails, beer, and mouth-watering Mediterranean-inspired brunch dishes.


Continuing the Mediterranean theme, Circe’s food and drink offerings will tantalize the taste buds with vibrant colours and bold flavours. Prepare to be spellbound by the theatrical mixology of cocktails like Perse’s Picante, a spicy margarita paying homage to Circe’s mythical mother, and Heles Mels, a concoction that vanishes before your eyes.


The food menu offers fresh and summery dishes, including Bashed Cucumbers with apricot harissa and coconut yoghurt dressing, Serrano Croquettes with olives and Romesco sauce, Cajun Spiced Fritto Misto with saffron aioli, and the Vegan Beef Smash Burger. With two private areas accommodating 80 to 100 guests each, Circe’s offers the perfect venue for summer parties, gatherings, and corporate events.
