Circe’s Rooftop - New winter wonderland terrace

Circe’s Rooftop Bar in Waterloo has transformed their terrace into an enchanting Aurora-themed escape. Guests can enjoy a brand-new selection of food and cocktails, featuring an exclusive winter collaboration with Hotel Chocolat in the form of a delightful chocolate cocktail menu.

Perched high above the streets of Waterloo, this rooftop bar became a summer sensation, famed for its signature frozen cocktails. With the temperature now dropping, Circe’s is weatherproofing the terrace side panels and increasing the warmth, turning this Mediterranean oasis into a snug winter retreat. Ibiza style day beds will be replaced by eight cozy Igloo pods, available for private hire from October to January, perfect for enjoying drinks and dining beneath the stars.

The new winter food and drink menu offers an array of chocolate cocktails crafted in partnership with Hotel Chocolat. Guests can sample the Salted Caramel Chocottini, an infusion of Amaretto and Hotel Chocolat's Salted Caramel liquor, and the Midnight Mocha Martini, a delicious chocolatey take on the traditional espresso martini featuring Hotel Chocolat chocolate espresso liquor.

The winter food offerings include comforting dishes such as Charred Hispi Cabbage glazed with Miso and Lemongrass, Ras El Hanout Roasted Carrots with hazelnuts, feta, and orange dressing, and Mozzarella and Truffle Arancini featuring white and portobello mushrooms. Don’t miss the Sage and onion-crusted chicken strips served with gravy mayo, or the holiday favourite, Pigs in Blankets with honey mustard dressing.

Circe’s team has curated an exciting lineup of winter events, making it the ideal spot for after-work drinks, festive celebrations, office Christmas parties, bottomless brunches, or the ultimate New Year’s Eve party, complete with a stunning view of London’s fireworks.

Address: Mercury House, 111 - 117 Waterloo Road, London, SE1 8UL
