Canary Wharf’s Winter Lights Festival – 17th – 27th Jan

Canary Wharf’s Winter Lights Festival has returned, with 19 commissions across the whole estate, bringing innovative artists from around the world together to light up the winter gloom and bring warmth to the Wharf. This annual highly successful free exhibition has won awards, and visitors are always wowed by the spectacular lights display!

The installations blend nature and technology: from a flickering flame to immersive suspended lights you can walk through – Yayo Kusama anyone? – from birds to animated figures and a meditative marble run. The lights go on from 5pm – 10pm each night for 11 days starting from 17th January through to 27th January.

There will also be pop-up street food and drink vendors including pizza, brisket, waffles and crepes amongst others curated by Karnival Food on the light trail. These join the many bars and restaurants within the malls: recent additions include Mallow, Blacklock and Fish Game.
