Halloween Afternoon Tea and Halloween Theatre Tours at Theatre Royal Drury Lane 

Theatre Royal Drury Lane is hosting a spooktacular Halloween themed Afternoon Tea, which includes a haunted graveyard cake with creepy piped vines topped with a gingerbread gravestone and a mini spooky sticky toffee pudding, topped with a spooky eye. The fun doesn’t stop here… you can also join the Theatre Royal Drury Lane Halloween Tour, the ultimate spooky experience, which unearths hidden tales, scandal, conspiracy and ghost stories in the heart of London’s Covent Garden. Hijingo’s Halloween Special – ‘Ghost in the Machine’

Calacas at Wahaca

Book a table at Wahaca and meet some life-sized calacas (skeleton figures) while you tuck into some of your favourite Tacos! The skeleton figurines that are traditionally displayed across Mexico during the annual fiesta. Hand-crafted for Wahaca by talented Mexican artisans from Oaxaca. Get your camera ready, you’re going to want a selfie with these!

During the half-term week, kids can get crafty, creating their own skeletal souvenir of the Day of the Dead with Calaca crafting activities at all Wahaca locations.

Day of the Dead 2023 celebrations run from 4th October to 8th November.

Halloween Bottomless Brunch at Piazza Italiana

Piazza Italiana is pulling out all the stops to give you the ultimate Halloween brunch! They are inviting you to enter a time warp into the eerily decorated Baroque Grand Ballroom of a bygone era filled with fright-ready revellers enjoying a ghoulish brunch. Dishes include Pumpkin panna cotta, pizzas with tricked-out toppings, Black spaghetti shrouded with cuttlefish and Bloody Mary Mafalda Bolognese. Pizza lovers heard to Gloria, Circolo Popolare or Ave Mario to try the pizzaioli, a pillowy-soft Neapolitan pizza topped with a smooth pumpkin cream, Mozzarella Fior di Latte, Gorgonzola & Parmigiano and a crafty web of black garlic aioli. This ghoulishly decadent, and oh-so cheesy creation is a real treat!

Bird & Blend Magical potion brewing and tea tasting masterclass

Fancy yourself as a magical potion maker? On the 30th October, Bird & Blend Tea Co. Portobello will be hosting a lock in for those keen on learning the mastery of potion brewing whilst tea tasting. This special masterclass combines the worlds of tea mixology, science & Bird & Blend’s magic autumnal tea elixirs. Hats and brooms are welcomed, it’s going to be one special brewing evening!
